Your initial appointment will typically last 90 minutes. It will include a review of your current health concerns, past health history, a review of Traditional Chinese Medicine systems, and any other necessary evaluations. During this session your acupuncturist will spend the time to understand your condition and you as a whole in order to construct a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
First-time patients should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to complete all necessary forms.
Follow-up visits typically last 60 minutes and will include a 10 -15 minute review of your progress and roughly 45 minutes of needle retention, tui na, cupping, or other therapeutic technique.
Insurance coverage for acupuncture varies from policy to policy. Therefore, coverage must be confirmed prior to your appointment. To confirm your coverage, please contact us with your full name, name of insured (if different), date of birth, insurance company name, phone number, policy number, and member ID.
If coverage is not confirmed before your appointment or your policy does not cover treatment, normal rates will apply.
If you are unsure of coverage or have any questions regarding insurance, please feel free to contact the clinic.
Lateness and Cancellation Policy
All appointment cancellations or reschedulings must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or you will be responsible for the full cost of treatment for the missed appointment. This policy also applies if you are more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment.
