Does acupuncture hurt?
Generally, acupuncture is painless. It is common for patients to feel a brief pinch followed by a dull, heavy, or radiating sensation.
How many treatments will I need?
This will depend on the severity and duration of your condition. Generally, acute conditions such as common colds or acute injuries can be addressed within 1-3 treatments. Long-term and chronic conditions will require more attention. A re-evaluation of your condition will be made after the 6th treatment to determine your progress and how best to move forward. Typically, most patients see improvement within 6-8 treatments.
Does insurance cover acupuncture treatments?
